Have you ever wanted to introduce painting to your baby, but are hesitant because they put everything in their mouths??
Painting with baby food is a safe and great way to have your child explore the Art of painting, sensory and try new foods at the same time!
We used carrots for orange, strawberries for red, green beans for green and peaches for the yellow.
They can use their hands for sensory play or if your child does not like when their hands are dirty, you can use a foam brush or paint brush, but be sure to watch that they don't bite a piece of foam or bristles.
You can use all sorts of puréed foods to create different colour and let your child explore. I would put out a plastic cover and leave them in their diaper or use a smock. I tend to do these activities on bath night and before I wash the lichen floor 🙂
